The home of friends who lost everything in the June flood. The Bow river (they are a couple of blocks away from the river) came up under their house and pushed the foundation slab up and flipped it over.
They just got running water and a new furnace installed last week. The Alberta government has decided they aren't eligible for financial help. They can't sell and they can't move.
The foundation walls are braced on the inside and there are jacks keeping the house upright.

Wurst was one of many restaurants and businesses wiped out by the flood. They hope to re-open in early 2014.

Considered to be a second home not a primary residence.

Been meaning to say, nice shots of our fair city... you capture it well. Love Whyte.

Downtown Moncton in mid-October:

These are pictures I took around downtown Moncton yesterday. The low October sun and absence of humidity led to harsh shadows which somewhat complicated the photoshoot and prevented certain angles from being photographed (too much glare). Still, the results aren't bad and the pictures capture the downtown area in the fall pretty well.....

Great pictures, MonctonRad.

I lived near here when I lived in Moncton:

I used to walk the tracks back to my place. :haha:

Did you lived everywhere Signal ? you looks like of a 30 years old guy with 60 years experience.

From what I know :

St-John's
Québec city
Winnipeg
Moncton
...whats next :D

A few of the others:

Mount Pearl, NL
Marystown, NL
Creston South, NL
Corner Brook, NL
Stephenville, NL
Halifax, NS
- Cole Harbour, NS
Churchpoint, NS
Moncton, NB
- Dieppe, NB
TO, ON
Kenora, ON
Winnipeg, MB
Beausejour, MB

Nothing is next permanently. But I wouldn't be opposed to spending a year or two elsewhere - primarily in Europe.

My employer has offices in Dublin and London, so it's a possibility. The only catch is I'd want the people of Dublin but the city of London. So I may just have to say **** it and go to Edinburgh.

Laval
St-Eustache
Québec city

Shameful ;)

Great pics of Moncton! It looks like a bigger version of Red Deer!
