You beat me. I was about to say I'm shocked they don't know what Cane's looks like.

That is a kickass meal right there. Gotta get the bread BOB (buttered on both sides), though.

Not to get too deep in the weeds but Bijan has a NIL deal with Raising Cane's and he's hosting Addison on an OV.....Hook 'em.

It may have been a bad pun, but it was a nice segue from the off topic to back on topic. :)

For whatever it’s worth, this may be a good cam to check progress on the tower once they begin. At least until it gets it’s own webcam.

Nice find! I hope it stays active.

I added the webcam link to the sticky development & webcam thread.

I've lost track. Do they have building permits in hand?

(I see ROW closure permit and site plan permit, but not sure about building permits.)

They have both active and pending permits for the foundation and underground levels.

It looks like barricades are being delivered to the site today. I don't know what else those could be.

At first I was thinking, "Those blue and white things? What are you talking about those were there several days ago?" Then I realized the picture I posted a few days ago auto-updates itself.

I was confused too. They weren't there when you originally posted the photo, and they just showed up today.

The street closures for construction on Cesar Chavez and Red River were put in place overnight.

Beautiful sight. Love the camera providing updated pics!

Based on the activity happening today, it looks like the surface lot where the constructions offices are is closing for parking.

It looks like they might be erecting a tent as well. Perhaps a groundbreaking ceremony on the horizon?

LOL. That is definitely a tent for the golden shovel people. It seems they could at least do the groundbreaking ceremony in the real dirt on the actual site.

GoldenBoot Jun 6, 2022 4:01 PM

Are you all sure that the tent isn't for some sort function of the coin base conference ("Concensus" or something like that) happening this coming weekend @ the convention center?
