My first drawing of Empire State Building:

Version 2:

Which one do you prefer?
I uploaded both these drawings, but they were deleted because of "poor dimensions". Why?

The geometry is just wrong - check the setbacks...

Could you please specify what details are wrong? I got a feeling that something is wrong. May be the parts on the right side should not be visible.

first, make the sides symmetrical. its pretty hard to get the dimensions right for empire state. I prefer the one on top. I think in many parts the window alignment is wrong. good job anyway.

btw maybe you are patriotic but dont bother to draw the flags. im quite sure they aren't that big and it doesnt make the drawings better.

Thanks.
Patriotic? No, I don't even live in the US. I will keep just one small flag then.

Well, let's see if I can make it. It is so hard to know how wide each section is exactly from that angle.

They're part of the building, are they not? They might not be as tall as in his drawing, however, they are still an integral piece of the base's character.

Anyway, fix the setbacks and it's a very nice drawing.:)

^A mirrored version of the drawing pasted over the original, with the bases in the same places. As you can see the building is leaning quite a bit, so you just need to shift a few things and the drawing will be great.
