Riverside Resources reveals details of West Austin office building

Austin-based Riverside Resources will build a seven-story office building on a bluff overlooking Capital of Texas Highway on the edge of Westlake.

The building named “Capital Ridge” will be adjacent to the opulent Hotel Granduca, which has broken ground northwest of the intersection of Bee Cave Road and Capital of Texas Highway.

Seven-story office tower in works in Southwest Austin

Austin-based developer Riverside Resources has started construction on Capital Ridge, a seven-story office building on a prominent bluff in Southwest Austin.

Apple, the world’s largest computer electronics company, employs about 500 engineers at the seven-story Capital Ridge office building, Johny Srouji, an executive at Apple, told the American-Statesman.

The newly constructed 215,000-square-foot building has the ability to hold 1,000 workers, and Apple intends to fill it, he said.

One weird thing about this site is it has a wastewater treatment plant and effluent fields. I heard the COA sewer line along 360 is at capacity.
