The Exchange District is a National Historic Site in the downtown area of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
At the start of the 20th century, Winnipeg was one of the fastest growing cities in North America. Winnipeg was known as the Chicago of the North and most of Winnipeg’s turn of the century architecture was heavily influenced by the Chicago style.
Its been known to be North Americas largest area of untouched turn of the century buildings.
