Parkville, Missouri- How about another round?

I took these pictures on Labor Day. However, I delayed the posting of these pictures because coincidently, Oldmanshirt had the exact same idea, so I wanted to make sure he got his due from everyone from SSP before I put mine up. LOL

Parkville is a town of about 4,500 people (2000 census). However, recent annexations will eventually put Parkville in the 15,000 - 20,000 mark by the end of the next decade. Parkville is also situated along the Missouri River which you will see more of later on this thread!!

Sorry!! As you probably already noticed, the quality of some of these pictures are not good, That's because I brought a disposable water camera without a zoom lense!! There was no way in hell I was going to take my $200 digital camera in a leaky inflatable raft!! End of story!!

This bridge supports I-29/I-35. The bridge is badly outdated and is being replaced. It will be a very nice addition to the skyline!!

Wow, Parkville!!!!

I love that little place. The school is built halfway into the mountain... in fact some of the university offices are inside of the mountain, and there's extra parking there and everything.

It's very cool, but much more of an "Oral Roberts U" cool than "NYU" cool.
