Great work, Homey!!!!

I really love rainy days...

This is so good (true) ;) :

"At every instant there is more than the eye can see, more than the ear can hear, a setting or a view waiting to be explored. Nothing is experienced by itself, but always in relation to its surroundings, the sequences of events leading up to it, the memory-of past experiences.
...
Every citizen has had long associations with some part of his city, and his image is soaked in memories and meanings.
...
Most often our perception of the city is not sustained, but rather partial, fragmentary, mixed with other concerns."

Another fantastic thread! For some reason, all the places you take pictures are much more interesting than all the places I take pictures. ;)

Some very creative photography here; it shows St. John's very nicely, from the "MUN-dane" to the spectacular.

Beautiful shots. I travelled up the western side of Newfoundland years ago and had a blast taking photos. A great shot around every corner.

(Hope you don't mind, I "borrowed" one of your pictures for my desktop for the next week or two. I love this pic.)

Some stupidly nice imagery here. So much vibrancy and color, and I love how you will the whole post full of shots; they all contrast and compliment each other so nicely. Excellent job.
