On that new render, it looks like 20-25 floors...

Its from the latest report. (Avison Young)

2017 Delivery Date, according to Central Houston. This means construction should begin sometime this year or early next year if correct.

Sounds like this one is not happening anytime soon.

Brookfield has space to add another high-rise office building on the site of a parking lot it owns just north of the Allen Center Garage.

"Brookfield is not a speculative developer," Frazier said. "We would love to build on it if we found a lead tenant commitment."

The question is how lead is lead. All you need is a law firm or a start-up oil company willing to knock down 100k sf, and Houston seems to have no shortage of those.

Maybe the Texas Enterprise Fund can help with that?:notacrook:

This was the design for the 50-story proposal though I have counted 35-floors.

Okay, so it's not 20 and not 50. So, let's declare it 35, and Goldilocks will approve.

...and the three bears will complain it's too short and a wasted opportunity for a 50-story tower. :P

Should I ask Goldilocks, before the three bears eat her, which is the final design and the number of floors? :D
