This hotel, which has weathered a number of proposals which have fallen through over the years, is finally getting a new lease on life. Beginning soon the 28-story abandoned tower will begin the renovation process to become an Omni Hotel with 419 Rooms. Everything is slated to start in 2008 and the property is supposed to re-open in September 2009.
