In 1908, the Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi proposed a giant hotel for Lower Manhattan, on the site of what was (and will be again) the WTC Site. It's a really cool building, but I can't find a diagram of it anywhere on SSP. BTW, I've seen some renderings where the building's facade is white, so that blueish color in the article is probably not accurate.
