Correction: Bloomberg Tower, NYC

The current Bloomberg Tower diagram has an incorrect height. The height of 261 meters is actually the above-sea-level height of the tower, which was incorrectly reported in the media as being the official structural height. The actual official height of the tower is 246 meters or 806 ft. Thank you!

Emporis has it at 246m (806 ft.). I don't know if you go by what they say, but they had it at 261m (855 ft.) for a period of time in 2003, but about a year and a half ago they changed the height to 246m (806 ft.). Media reports that I have seen have it at 856 ft, 855 ft, and 814 ft. For a period of time during its beginning stages there were reports that it would be taller than Trump World Tower, but that is obviously not that case now no matter how you cut it. I would take Emporis' word over any of them.
