• This was the last major building built in Davenport before the Depression.
• The design is a simplified Art Deco. The brick facade is articulated with slightly recessed vertical bands comprised of paired windows alternating with metal spandrels. The Brady Street facade is highlighted by brick pavilions projecting slightly forward from each end of the building.
• The RKO Orpheum Theater (now Adler Theater)/Mississippi Hotel combines a 2,700-seat theater with a hotel above.
