Interesting Facts/Records (in own words): Eye of the Wind is the only wind turbine in Canada with an observation deck and the first wind turbine built in North America in an extreme high altitude location.
It is a Leitwind LTW77-1500 wind turbine with a generation capacity of 1.5 MW with a rotor diametre of 76.8 metres. Eye of the Wind was inaugurated on February 5, 2010 and connected to the grid on September 22nd 2010.
