Interesting Facts/Records (in own words): These towers are used as antenna for a mediumwave transmitter
working on 1251 kHz with 25 kW and are insulated against ground.
In opposite to nearly all other mast radiators these towers are free-standing structures and not guyed. They are the only
free-standing mast radiators in Hungary. Picture: http://www.panoramio.com/photo/21795455

I have heard construction of tall ,continuous, concrete chimneys like those seen in power plants tends to be a complicated affair. One of my cousins works in construction and he says a specific process called conical slipforming is used for construction of concrete chimneys. Yesterday, I also came across a blog on this : How Useful Is Conical Slip forming Method of Construction? (http://bygging-uddemann.co.kr/how-useful-is-conical-slip-forming-method-of-construction/) . He says this process is especially used for construction of tall concrete structures with tapering ends. I just wanted to know does any one have more information on the various techniques used for concrete chimney construction . By the way can you also post images since I am not able to open some of the links and a few renderings will be appreciated.
