Do you have a source for this?

No Source: Just grew up there... (born in '68) This building is commonly known as the Jake Butcher building. Built in '77/'78. The only other glass tall building in Knoxville was built in the mid 80's. Check out pictures from the 1982 World's Fair. You will see this building... but not the other glass building.

Let me clarify: The Plaza Tower (the Jake Butcher building) was built in 1977. (you can see it in pictures from the 1982 Worlds Fair). Later the Riverview Tower was built in 1986.

Well I am confused now, can you provide links to the building pages so that I know what to edit?

I live in the southeast U.S. (in western N.C. for several years and presently in Atlanta) and I'm very familiar with Knoxville, so I can see the problem. The two tallest have the wrong completion dates. The 1986 tower is shown as completed in 1977 and the 1977 tower is shown as completed in 1986. I will fix it.

Thanks Mathew for fixing the building dates. I also live in Atlanta now (Douglasville) but I grew up in Morristown (NE of Knoxville). I remember when they built the Jake Butcher building... (the Plaza Tower). It was a really big deal (in the late 1970's). Jake Butcher (and his money) went on to pull the World's Fair into Knoxville. (Possibly the best thing to happen to Knoxville) Thanks again Mathew. Chris
