Interesting Facts/Records (in own words): York Minster has to be one of Europe's greatest Cathedrals. The Minster has three towers - the Central Tower, which was built in 1407-1433 to a height of 60m, and the two Western Towers, built in 1433-1472 to a height of 55m (61m including pinnacles).
