Interesting Facts/Records (in own words): Portofino TV Tower is not just used for FM-/TV-broadcasting. It is also used for broadcasting on the mediumwave frequency 1575 kHz with a power of 50 kW by a somewhat unique
antenna, which consists of a wire spun from the tower over a nearby valley

Close to the tower, there is a smaller lattice tower with triangular cross section. It may be a free-standing mast radiator, but this is only a theory for which I have no proof and until I have no source for its height, it
should not added to database.
