Interesting Facts/Records (in own words):
The Emirates Palace (Arabic: قصر الإمارات) is a luxury hotel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hotel) located in the United Arab Emirates (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Arab_Emirates) (UAE) city of Abu Dhabi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abu_Dhabi). The hotel was built by and is owned by the Abu Dhabi government, and is currently managed by the Kempinski (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kempinski) Group. Not too far from the hotel is the Marina Mall (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marina_Mall), one of two large shopping malls in Abu Dhabi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abu_Dhabi) city. According to some local residents of Abu Dhabi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abu_Dhabi), the best view of the hotel can be obtained along the long stretch of road leading to the hotel (Corniche Road).
With a construction cost of over US$3 billion, 302 superior rooms and 92 magnificent suites, the Emirates Palace is reputed to be the most expensive hotel ever built. Much of the interior decor is in gold (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gold) and marble (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marble). The main central area is particularly impressive with a expansive marble floor, balconies and a large patterned dome (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dome) above, picked out in gold.
The hotel also contains a luxurious, technologically advanced conference centre. World-renowned music artists and other concerts have already taken place at the Palace Conference Centre. Some of the performances include the Scorpions (band) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scorpions_%28band%29), Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deutsches_Symphonie-Orchester_Berlin) and the Swan Lake (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swan_Lake) ballet.
The Emirates Palace is sometimes confused with the Presidential Palace (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Presidential_Palace), the official residence of the Ruler (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khalifa_bin_Zayed_Al_Nahayan) of Abu Dhabi, which is nearby.

Wimberly Allison Tong and Goo (WATG) is responsible for the architecture. The design uses particularly traditional Arabian elements, as for example the big dome as well as other 114 domes which are distributed above the whole building. The colour of the hotel goes back to the different sandy shadings which are found in the Arabian Desert. The big atrium dome has a diameter of 42 metres and her surface is decorated with silver mosaics and golden mosaics.

The big atrium dome has a diameter of 42 metres and her surface is decorated with silver mosaics and golden mosaics. In the ball hall which can take up up to 2800 persons (cocktail receipt) there is a 17-metre-wide dome. The other domes are between 2.9 and 12 metres . The hotel is 1 kilometre long, has a circumference of 2.5 km and a surface of 243,000 m².Round the hotel 1 km2 big park with gardens and beach was put on. The triumphal curve in the entrance to the hotel has a height of 40 metres and a width of 36 metres.

The height is incorrect. The Wikipedia link says a few things, none of which are the height of the hotel. It says that the diameter of the dome/cupola is 42 meters, and that arch at the entrance of the hotel, alone, is 40 meters.

I'm also unsure of the floor count, and I'm unsure where you got your floor counts from. I'll add the 6 floors from emporis.com since there are not good pictures where these can be accurately judged.
