Interesting facts: Project begins in 1912. One of the 5th big gothic temples in World. Neogothic style is the biggest Church in Sao Paulo city with 111m in length, 46 wide, 2 towers and a magistral dome. It could contain 8000 people inside. It was used 800ton of Marble. In Cripta was buried some important person like indian Tibiriçá (http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tibiri%C3%A7%C3%A1) and Regente Feijó (http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regente_Feij%C3%B3). Its organ from Itlay is one of the biggest in South America. In 1999 the building was closed due to a brick fall near the nave inside the church for small repairs. In 2000 was again closed for a complete restoration when it was complete finished in 2002 including some itens of the initial project. The restoration costed R$ 19,5 millions.
