Description
Architect: Helmle, Corbett & Harrison

The building's exterior features bas-reliefs by the pioneering Ukrainian-born sculptor Alexander Archipenko (1887-1964). Perhaps one of his first commissions in the United States, the sculptures symbolize industry as well as reflecting Ukrainian folk themes.

The building had the world's fastest elevators at the time of its opening.
