Wink NORTH MIAMI | Claude Pepper Park | 8 x 190 FT | 8 x 18 FLOORS (2,193 units)

Claude Pepper Park Redevelopment

In conjunction with the city of North Miami, RedWood Capital and a few other partners are planning for a massive redevelopment of city-owned land. News from a few weeks ago shows they already have significant capital lined up but are waiting for city approval. There's some drawback by the surrounding neighborhoods due to the dramatic increase from 1 floor homes to an 18 story multi-tower complex.

Specifics:
Quote:
Units: 2,193
Parking Spaces: 3,821 (For additional retail and redeveloped park space)
Retail SF: (Includes grocer space) 121,500
Floors: 8 x 18 FLOORS (8 towers)
FT: 8 x 190 (8 towers)
Developer: Redwood Capital Dev LLC
Architect: Kobi Karp
Location: 1525 NW 135 St
These are city scanned documents so please excuse the poor quality. Also the developer conveniently missed any full scale rendering of the development to show its height... lol.

I can imagine the biggest complaint will be traffic. That's a lot of vehicles.

Good overall though from a density perspective. More of this is needed. You know, if all around, not just in this area but across this country, if more of THIS was built, we could really make a dent in that supply gap, big time!
