Looks fantastic.
The title of this thread should say "Sherbrook St", not "Sherbrook Ave".

By far the most impressively designed and built MURB in Winnipeg in recent years. Very nice details and almost no visible cheap-outs, at least to this point. That building is shaping up to be a real gem.

It's amazing that the developer held on to this project for literally 4 years, just for the right moment......

Wonderful speculation of the market from the developer.

I guess sincethe start there have been some people who knew the potential of the city.

Ban/suspension.

Mods/admins have the boldface names. Some people have names appearing in green, I'm still not exactly sure what that means. Diagram editors, I think?

completed in April. Pretty great building. Built for the long term. Four retail units along the street.

here's the view from the roof terrace.

I guess for residents of the area, it'll be nice to have something beside that McDonalds.

Right now as they're still building it, it's nice to be able to catch a 55 or 68, as they have moved the WT stop northward.

How can that be when they're only at the 6th floor?

Seven floors to go, plus the mechanical.

I thought this looks so much like an office building, not residential.

Now if something similar could be done across the street with that whole block of Portage Ave. with former Natcom/National Typewriter, Cash Money, that new barber shop, then I'd be happy.

It really does look office/institutional. Definitely unlike any other residential building in town, at least among more recent builds. It looks very high quality.

It's only going to be 6 floors now, it was redesigned from the original 13 story proposal.

The picture that Viking posted, that is going to be an amazing view in the summer when everything is green.

Looks amazing.

I hope the economics of the project work for them -- I'd love to see them do more of the same.

I would also like to see the bike lane continue along the curb from south of Broadway. The slip lane island in the NE corner is massive and has tons of room to accommodate a bike lane along/through it.

Looks pretty spectacular, although that fluorescent/white LED light in the bathroom is not a good look haha.
