I love love LOVE the glass they used on the parking podium; that black glass used to wrap around the podium/southwest corner of the main tower is also quite nice.
I wasn't so sure about the glass on the garage from some of the earlier photos, but the latter ones on here make it look fantastic. It's certainly been nicely done.

Anyone know - did they? Ensuing pics posted in this thread so far don't happen to include that portion.

I must say this building cleaned up nicely. I just drove by it today and the pattern is MUCH more visible now that they have given the facade a thorough cleaning. I thought it was going to look horrible forever like the original pictures were indicating, but it must have just been a film of grime.

Yeah, I've been dying to know this as well. If I were the developer I would ride the contractor's ass about it until it was fixed. That kind of egregious error is not acceptable on a contract worth tens of millions of dollars.

It appears fixed judging by the two following pics. The first one is from March 17th. The second picture (which I took) is of the NE corner from May 19th and the glass appears fixed.

Regardless, it should have never been placed incorrectly in the first place.

Today
Got stuck in the worst traffic on Lake Shore Drive tonight, but it's never that bad when you get to see Chicago at a standstill.

Good set, JMT ^ Was wondering what the east face from LSD looked like. Clever last shot.

I walked by a couple weeks ago and it was seeded.

Below the wall, they have a strip of protected dirt where ivy(?) is taking seed. There is a wire grid that runs up the wall from there. I imagine it will take some time, but I think the plants are supposed to climb the wall grid and cover the building (or at least the grid)

When the massive warps in the glass aren't visible, it looks good.

^Woah, never seen that angle before. Is that Ogden slip? Not familiar with that long low-rise in the foreground.

Woah that looks like a fine render. Simply sparkling. What a nice, restrained use of vertical color panels to break up the monotony of glass.

The shades in the windows will also add a nice horizontal effect.
