Not a bad addition for Austin. It will be interesting to see how this one turns out; the rendering has it looking a bit look one high-rise stacked atop another.

I guess I was lucky. The day I was there it was cold, so I had on long pants, and long sleeves.

Heh, my dad would always gripe about the poison ivy along the hike and bike trail in Zilker Park. I can still hear his voice complaining about it. I guess that's the price you have to pay for having a wild natural looking trail. Everything flourishes.
^Yep. I went out on my "ride to see the skyline" this past weekend. I actually spotted the Four Seasons from a few spots here in South Austin.
I think they'll have to raise the crane at least once more, maybe twice? They have 8 floors to go, and I think the building would be about level with the top of the boom of the crane now. It'll be just 3 feet shorter than One Congress Plaza, our former 2nd tallest, so it will be a fairly prominent building on the skyline, especially from the south.
Here's a night view from one of the Convention Center balconies.
I had never been up on those balconies before. They're kind of nice. There's lots of those aluminum tables and chairs, with taller tables and barstools along the railing. You can get some good views of parts of the skyline from there.
