Here's a side-by-side comparison of the Weston Centre and the Marriott Rivercenter that I put together on Photoshop. Both pics are from Google Street View (inside the newest version of Google Earth) and are both about 806' away from the base of each building. I lined up the bases, and...yep, the Weston is as tall or barely higher than the spires on the Marriott. Weston for #1 lol.

Did you notice that in your pic of the MR, you can actually see the WC in the background? That's pretty trippy!

I was downtown yesterday, and the Vidorra looks amazing! Two would be even sweeter though, and along with the Alamodome would really create that multi-dimensional "canyon" effect that's so impressive in many cities.

There was also a wheel-based crane pretty close to Muni Auditorium, but I didn't have time to check it out. Anybody know what that is?

Nice shot. How many floors on the Courtyard?

And does anybody have an update on Vidorra?

I think the crane you saw was the crane being used on the extension of the river.

One thing I am disappointed about is the lighting of the Grand hyatt at night. The only thing thats lit up is the mechanical penthouse on the top. I hope in time they can at least light up some of the limestone on the side of the building or something. The building at night looks pretty dull.
