From my opinion, it's one thing to demolish a great building to attempt to built a larger, more dense building when you are in NYC, Chicago, but it's another thing entirely to demolish a great building and replace it with a lowrise or a parking lot. Or in Detroit's case, because you have to demolish a great building as it's falling down on it's own.
