I would've preferred a more gradual approach from PREIT, there were alot of good tenants in the gallery that would've loved to stay. But hey it's not my money.

they are installing 15th floor of steel currently. This looks massive because of it's surroundings to the east and south. I'd think it will be topped off by Thanksgiving.

not sure what is going on with the organic market, it was supposed to be done months ago and yet the interior is far from finished.

I need to look at the renderings but I didn't expect the bumped out section on the NE corner of the property facing Market street. I guess that is how it was always supposed to be but it caught me off guard.

I saw this as I was walking along Market east towards C21 a few days ago.
Although I was in a rush, this was part of my "must visit" places to see in person.

I can tell you that most commuters have no idea what is being built right now.
They are in for a surprise!!

The bump out was always planned. You can see it in this rendering:

That rendering is why I am so excited for this development!
Along with the redevelopment at the old Gallery will give Market east the boost it needs!

By 2020, we will all be visiting the city again for sure!

I'm amazed that no tenant announcements have been made yet? We're topping the east tower off in a few weeks here.

One tenant - Design within reach, is coming to the first tower. MOM's Organic Market to the redeved office building on 11th.

More tenants will be announced soon. They probably wont lease the space on the West side of the tower facing the pedestrian plaza/walkway until the West tower is nearing completion.

You could almost see a reflection of the PSFS base in that modern design.
I hope that the Hard Rock Cafè across the street gets a facelift by then.

Maybe it's just me but that is such an eyesore with that guitar on the corner.
Perhaps the younger generation likes that sort of nonsense, who knows?

I think that's the idea.

Finally glad to see real vertical progress. It seem like the foundation work took ages before the first steel beam was erected.

what's being built is NOT reflected by that rendering at all. There is a bumped out section at the NE corner of the building that is not apparent in the images we've seen so far. Not sure if this is an extension of the size of corner units or what, but if you look at the pics (I see the building every day) and the renderings you will see what I'm saying.

Within the last few weeks they have poured the deck that will connect the new building with 34 S 11th street. I assume it will be drive aisle for deliveries or perhaps a walkway between the two buildings.

Two more CC Wawas -- one at East Market and the other replacing I. Goldberg's (wonder where they're going to go). Is Wawa's plan to be our version of Duane Reade or Harris Teeter?

You, uh, haven't taken a look at the site plan, have you?

not in the last few weeks. It's been a while since this was released at CDR. Why don't you just explain what that section will be if you remember. Is that too much to ask?
