I think your point about the market will dictate the upper end of price point is the most important factor. One can't really say an asking price is too high or too low until the market tells you!
With Highpoint coming on stream soon, there will be stiff competition to Escala for high end condo's. However, they may be targeting a slightly different market as the Escala building is smaller in scale, yet the units are relatively large.
I guess we will will know in a few months how well Saskatoon absorbs these projects.
*NOTE: didn't even mention River Terrace on College and Clarence, as there is no sign of life in that project.
