The base of the tower looks nice, but doesn't fit in to the overall design

The curves and the crown may make it interesting... but so far, I'm leaning towards boring.

Buildings like these should be a little bit taller, Pudong has too many of these 200m towers.

the base evokes the parking garage spiral attached to trump chicago. slightly incongruous but the glass is nice, inoffensive. before the framing went up around the crown this thing looked mighty awkward. but i get the intent now.

While I agree, if this one was to be taller than say, 240m, it would almost complete block out the Jin Mao from the Bund. I'm not too keen on ol' Jinny getting blocked out by 6/10 architecture

The Hopson Tower now has a new name. Behold!

It's a mouthful. Acronym time. The MAT building it is.

Until the sign has been completed I guess we'll have to call it the Mirae Ass Tower.

This is a very nice tower by the way. A nice addition to the endless collection of ~200m towers in Lujiazui.

Too bad they went through all that effort to build an interesting top, and then enclosed it in glass so that it looks like just another rounded square tower.

^^
That top would have looked a bit awkward in my opinion.
I wonder what its function is inside the building though.
