I'll try this once more:

Diagonal, almost leaning columns, will eventually begin to give the unique structure its shape. The building plan, however, is designed so that a full skeleton won’t be seen until the structure is essentially completed.

Thanks, Restless 1. Looking at the rendering again it seems that the columns are leaning in toward the core and not to the side (at a "twisting" angle). So that answers my earlier question.

They poured the rest of the second floor of the tower portion. Now they're setting up forms for the third floor. It's starting to look like a building!

Looks like there's parts for a third crane sitting in the lobby.

And why is a guy in Boston the most active on this thread?

In my defense, I noticed that today and came to post about it.

On second thought, they may be scaffolding parts for the high floorplate above the lobby.

Hey jaga185, if you're ready for one of your overhead shots, I'm ready to see it. I'd love to get a good look at the forms they're setting up for the next floor pour.

Thanks, jaga. Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but can you please post it larger? I'd like to get a good look at the rebar and forms.

(edit)
Now that they're placing forms and (soon) rebar on the portion above the main entrance, I can see what I was hoping to see on the webcam... the formation of the beam structures that will support the floor. So please don't worry about posting a larger version of your photo, jaja185 (unless you want to). I appreciate seeing your photos and I look forward to more as the building rises.

You beat me to it!

After this whole floor is poured we'll start to get a sense of what the building will look like. Then after the tower portion passes the garage level (6th floor?), it will really begin to show itself.

Came across Gensler's design proposal for the building.

All the more assuring that Pelli Clarke was the right architect for the job. I wish it was taller but hopefully SA will get more buildings like the one Pelli designed.
