Wow, it looks great. I like the panels on the podium. They have sort of a Scandinavian vibe.

I does look a little lonely and lacking context. Does anyone know if they are proceeding with the second tower?

I haven't seen any action on the second site at all and I drive by there almost every day.

According to the sales persons, they'd be surprised if there'd be any shovels in the ground "within the next four years or so". I have also heard that the second tower is on hold right now as their are currently so many other competing projects in the area.

The northwest corner penthouse was listed on Craigslist the othe day. This 1400 sqft two-level penthouse with a 1250 sqft rooftop deck was renting for a little under $3000/month. Very tempting, but the commute from all they way in Surrey would not be to my liking.

Looks like the building is complete. As per craiglist a lot of units available for rent as of May 15. Noticed a few lights on last night from my balcony at Ultra and a moving truck rolling in yesterday.

Wow, also another of the penthouse suites is on market, but this guy thinks he can get $3990/month unfurnished or $4490/month furnished. Dream on!

Even if it were worth the $3990/month price, I would never pay extra for those furnishings!

I'd rather look at trees than concrete fields. Surrey has space - give them some time to fill in. It's not like areas like Yaletown suddenly sprang up overnight.

Yeah, that is a nice green view and thank you for posting the photo! I am just surprised how random lots of Central Surrey still seems. It will get better over time, but it will take a while still before they will be catching Burnaby in terms of urban town center core.

What's not visible in those pictures (but is if you take the Skytrain), is that many of those green areas are not really parks, but more like urban dumps with garbage, evidence of homeless camping, and so on.

This guy is still on the market with his penthouse having sat empty for two months now. He has come down in price by $500 but still too much for Surrey. Greed is never good. Keep dreaming, dude!

I was there when only two of the three elevators were available. I believe it was around 2 min max and we were on the 17th floor.
