Burial Ground Main @ Water area

http://www.mhs.mb.ca/docs/pageant/23...ralhaunt.shtml

There is substantial evidence that an Indian burial ground existed in the area bounded by Water and Main to the north and St. Mary's and Fort Street to the south and west. This was formerly a portion of the Hudson's Bay Reserve.

I have a friend who I used to work with at 269 Main St. in the 2000s. She said she sensed a spirit was watching her when she used the stairs there.

Also the railway's Manitoba Hotel burned to the ground in 1899 at the spot where 269 Main (Federal Bldg.) now stands. I am not sure whether there were any causalities in that fire.

There's been a lot of archaeology done since that article was written in 1977. No "burial ground" yet, who knows what may surface in the future?

RiverTrain man tells me though that it’s not the busiest stretch of train tracks in Canada.

Despite the temperature being below -40°, there were remarkably no casualties.

There were none:

Also, there are no such things as ghosts.
