Yep. I actually did hear about that one. Was waiting on renderings first since the elevations submitted to the city looks like the designs don't match each other.

Thank you for not being to help yourself. You're models help me truly visualize the progress and proposals. Keep it up dude!

It's appreciated.

Didn't this one receive a pretty significant height chop a few months/years back under pressure from NIMBYs?

Suck it West Loop NIMBYs. This will bust the West Loop wide open in terms of height restrictions. What a great precedence.

Yes, this is Burnett and it wouldn’t have been approved without his okay.

All affordable housing will be on site.

Roughly $2,000,000 in tax revenue annually.

cool! so the final approval is a done deal.

it's really impressive this has been approved at 495'.

the furthest west that height of this scale has ever pushed out from downtown.

Sure, if you ignore what's already approved for Lincoln Yards.

I apologize if this was already covered (I looked back through several pages of the thread but didn't see it)... so the main entrance is on Peoria even though this is 900 W Randolph? I assume there will be an additional entrance on Randolph? And if so, which building on Randolph would serve as the entry? The only street level image I've seen of this building is from Peoria.

Being that it's still 10 years from any of those tall buildings from breaking ground, I think it's pretty safe to ignore them from consideration. If the economy tanks hard enough, the entire project will probably just die. On the other hand, this building is going to be built near guaranteed at this rate

Also there are no specific towers proposed for LY yet. Just vague planning guidelines. Talk to me when Sterling Bay announces the first proposed tower.

Isn't LY phase one already proposed? 3 towers designed by SOM and Gensler?
