Man let’s hope that get financed and approved . The tribune tower will be a game changer for this city . It would be nice if we get a tower taller than the sears though .

^^ Wow, what an impact Vista is already having. It will end up being taller than its crane in that last shot.

They would be so close in height that from many angles it will be almost indistinguishable which is taller to the layperson.

I like that they are approximate similar heights and will be the defacto anchors of two clusters. Though the Tribunes cluster would have a good deal more heft which wouldn't have been the clear case 20 years ago.

I'm having difficulty imagining what these "clusters" might be. Viewed from different angles, the clusters either change or become nonexistent. Are you talking about the future clusters that might come if every proposal gets built? Sorry, just a bit confused by the wording

Most likely. Supposedly they are 4-5 weeks away from deciding if they're switching manufacturers.

4-5 Weeks! And just to switch manufacturers! I think we can say its official that the building will top off without any glass. Ha!

Yeah really, if I were the developer, with millions of dollars at stake, I would be expediting this decision ASAP

The glass situation is ridiculous, but it is what it is. Hopefully something good will come out of this.

They are either on the last or second to last floor before the final setback right now. The last bit is going to go really quick as they are not only pouring half of the floor size they were previously but according to the diagrams the sheer wall ends at the setback.

^ Excellent. It should shoot up considering how thin it is. Does anyone know the rough footprint of the final frustum? Is it less than 75'x75' at the maximum?
