Quibble: in Chelsea or Kensington (actually, anywhere in London or indeed the UK) the grounds of a castle-like house like that would be walled off from the street.

New Westminster has a lot of houses that look out of place for Metro Vancouver but remind me a lot of almost any Southern Ontario city.
