I might have missed in previous pages, but is there news on the proposed units in 206-210 Princess? It looks like people are working in there, but I don't know on what, besides the variance notice that was posted on the building a few months back.

Yeah, IIRC it was something like 60 residential units and some commercial space. I just haven't seen any publicity for it, or renderings, or even a name for the project.

I would be shocked if that's the one – it's fully operational and quite busy. They produce those jelly watermelon-looking slices you often see around this time.

I heard rumblings about the Nutty Club on Lombard, it could be there.

206-210 Princess

I snuck in there about a month ago, Managed to get some photos. Once I figure out how to share photos in here I'll post em.

It's all entirely gutted.
The more northern building used to be the "Orange Hall" had some great murals upstairs in the lodge rooms. Super creepy basement.

Imgur is FREE photo space, just like Google Drive.

Another one is PhotoBucket, I don't know if it still exists or not.

Google Drive but you have to make the image (or document) available for others to read. https://drive.google.com/

Great! I'll give google drive a try as I already use the google photos app for storage.

I tried Flikr but there was an issue linking my account to the app, I'm seriously foreign to post 2000 tech 😂

Yes. Was spearheaded by Centre Venture. Will be a nice project. Artist space in the storefronts.

That one seems to have been a little under the radar compared to the Market Lands development, but it looks like an important piece of the puzzle. Should fill in that part of the area nicely.

Yeah, I'm watching this keenly, for my own interests. Within 5 years from now, the Exchange North of William will be a very different place. I suspect now's a good time to start pecking for worms, real estate-wise.

You can't tell me you've never had these....

They're like "everything-free" - no allergies, kosher, vegan, halal. Practically made of air.

216 Princess / Scott Memorial Hall (which may be part of this Centre Venture spearheaded project as suggested by Viking) is in serious jeopardy of collapsing. The foundation has been compromised by recent work / flooding and the building is now leaning 12 + inches northward. The whole wall has cracked. Fencing has been places around the building as a safety measure. With the wood beams pulled from the wall slots it’s very possible the building will have to come down. Very unfortunate... it was a beauty.

That's heartbreaking! It's not just a beautiful building on its own, but also a beautiful terminating vista for Rupert Ave. Is there nothing that can be done to stabilize it?
