A pitched roof is now being constructed on the I-10/1604 Drury...and I think it's going to make the building's shape look a whole lot better.

Not a big fan of the pitched roof, looks like an overgrown KB home.

The same crane that is responsible for the Drury at IH 10/1604, was taken down recently. I just notice, I'm pretty sure its the same crane, that it has been moved to Loop 1604, between Stone Oak, and US 281. Next door to the Drury hotel there, are they building another Drury?

Got to see Tesoro yesterday, man! I wish that was in downtown, or somewhere near all the high rises on the Loop 410.

Those pics hit the spot for a displaced SAian, thanks SKW

Looks like the Broadway crane is gonna need some jacking up soon. I'm liking the cluster that's forming with Broadway, the ATT (former USAA HQ) building, the Hildebrand/New Braunfels condo tower, and the Park Lane Towers.

Have to say, Quarry Village is nice but underwhelming. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it seems to be lacking "it". More density in areas inside 410 is always welcome, tho, so I won't complain any more about it

Is Quarry Village part of the Quarry Market, or just near it?

Just near it; across from Basse, not part of "Quarry Market"

It's on the east side of Basse Rd. between Quarry Market and the Quarry golf course.

Thanks for the Pictures SirKingWillias. They are great. I have not been to La Cantera Area in a while. There is too much going on overthere.
And for Tesoro HQ, I also wish -like "the Model"- that it was in Downtown or 410 &281, even at Crossroads.
But oh well.
Everything looks good.

Whatever the crane is putting up at the Rim is now on the second floor. Have we figured out what it is yet? The hotel?

Ok, I'm about to say something that might get me inducted into COGSADCAJA.........................WHY IS THERE NO ON-RAMP TO 281 N FROM BASSE RD.?
Wow, the first time I think I've ever complained about something in SA.

On a positive note, I saw the Broadway for the first time, and am impressed and I think it's going to be great. It's on the 10th floor now. I took a picture but left the camera in the car, and am too lazy to go get it, so I'll post it tomorrow.

I've always wondered about that. I guess there just isn't any space.

Yes, it is a hotel. It is the 6-floor Residence Inn by Marriott. A 6-floor Courtyard by Marriott is also going in right beside it (should begin soon). Both are expected to be finished by Summer 2009.

The Courtyard by Marriott will be similar to this:

It would interfere with the exit to Jones-maltsburger. To go north you just go up to Jones maltsburger anyway, it's not that much of a hassle.
