SA: Schertz's World Class Soccer Complex

Plans include 25 soccer fields, an indoor air-conditioned facility, onsite dormitories and training camps, concession areas, retail shops, restaurants and coffee shops.

Construction has begun and the entire project is scheduled for completion within a year.

In Schertz which is 17 miles northeast of downtown San Antonio.

The new complex will replace a smaller and outdated set of 11 fields. The developers of this new complex are from Mexico and will team up with World Wide Soccer SA (which owns and operates the current complex). The developers bought much additional land surrounding the current fields and will build the new world class complex. Which they say will hold regional, national and international soccer tournaments.
