San Antonio Skyline as a Show Background.

I dont know if you all knew about this. One day Watching That 70's Show Season 7 Episode 8 I found the Background outside the window from the office very attractive. Well is nothing more than our San Antonio Skyline.
Check it out. this is the youtube link.

how appropriate.

we have a new nickname for our modest, earth-toned city backdrop:

that 70s skyline.

Haha, funny. I've watched that show many times and for some reason never noticed it. That's definitely the Weston Centre there.

I left a comment on that video, I wonder if people will get mad that I'm pointing out their continuity details.

Well it is season 7, if they were going by adding a year for every season the year would be 1984.

Maybe, because I mean techinally the show's first season takes place in 1977 because he's playing with Star Wars action figures. So the show either takes place within those three years... or its 1984, which still the Weston wasn't build yet, lol.

The flag on top of the Milam building is mesmerizing, I don't think it moved once the whole time!

btw, anybody else think that room decor looks more late 90s than late 70s/early 80s??

Well, if you'll notice something about the show, they always changed the expiration date on the tag on the license plate of the Vista Cruiser (Eric's car). I don't quite remember how many seasons the show went for, or what the tag's date was on the first or earlier episodes, but on the last episode of the show, the tag's date read 'December 31, 1979'. The show never went into the 80s. I think they just yanked some skyline picture from somewhere and used it, not really knowing what city it was or really trying to stay accurate to a timeline.

You know, I could have sworn that the SA skyline was used as a backdrop in the movie "I Heart Huckabees". Can anyone confirm?

When the series first started, every season had a year added, I guess they couldn't go in to the 80's and it got stalled in '79. I loved that 80's show, I think I'm the only one though. It did have Glenn Howerton who is on Always sunny in philadelphia.

Well, it can't be that since I Heart Huckabees used it too.
