Greenpeace should be sounding the alarm given that Montreal dumps raw sewage into the river.

It's really not a regular occurrence. Like most older cities with aging infrastructure, the city is working on upgrades.

Speaking of in-progress upgrades to sewage systems to prevent raw sewage ending up in waterways, how about....

https://edmontonjournal.com/news/loc...-sewage-system

Not to mention Victoria that dumps all raw sewage into the Juan de Fuca Strait.

That has happened only on two occasions since 2015 due to sewerage works. Otherwise Montreal treats its water and the river is clean enough to swim in. There are several public beaches...

Great set, hiker. I can't believe how narrow that house in the second last shot is...

I think it might be the narrowest in the city. There are four others that look more or less the same that I've found. But they are old. The one on my street is literally a driveway infill. I suspect if I went around with a measuring tape, it would win.

I accidentally clicked EDIT your post instead of QUOTE it and almost posted this as you.

It's like a two-floor trailer. It's very long and the hilarious thing is (I've never been inside it, but imagine how this must look...) it's a LONG GRADUAL decline from two floors to one. They must have a 20-foot swiffer to clean the second floor as it drops from 3-4 feet high to the floor over like HALF THE LENGTH OF THE HOUSE lol
