Yeah drove by the site. 3rd tower crane looks to be going up soon. It also looks like they are jumping up the west tower crane to make it higher.

I took my first trip to Atlantic Station last week and it was simply awesome. Never realized how urban it was until I looked up and noticed condos and apartments sitting atop the shops and restaurants.

I believe the Atlantic will be an awesome addition to the Atlanta skyline. If the crown of the building is done right this should be an impressive structure. Many would have liked the Atlantic to have been taller but, imho the height fits this beauty. Can't wait until she's finished.

Nice pics.

I'd like to request some pics of 171 17th on your next outing. I'm really liking the street level of that building.

OMG, I saw you on my way to LA Fitness at AS. I thought to myself, I wonder if he's apart of the SSP forum. I drove passed you in a white BMW. Not that you would remember.

Thanks for the pics DoteDote, looks like they're up to street level or close to it. Great to see the progress and I'm ready to see the tower portion start climbing.

What's the building with the greenish-blue glass on the left hand side of that last pic?

That's Twelve: Atlantic Station. Hotel and condos.

12 Atlantic Station is the greenish-blue glass building. That's Novare's first 12 and the same developer that is building this building.

Yes, and I'll start a thread later tonight, if you feel it's "under construction" enough. Basically, a few small cranes, giant concrete cylinder forms, and steal mesh columns. Have no idea what they're doing... the only digging was a ramp for trucks to get into the hole from the lowest parking level.

Thanks. So this building won't stand alone.
