SUNNY ISLES | Bentley Residences (18401 Collins Avenue) | 749 FT | 60 FLOORS

Dezer May Be Planning 749-Foot Tower To Replace Thunderbird In Sunny Isles

Quote:
Gil Dezer may already be working on his next development in Sunny Isles, taller than anything he has built so far.

Yesterday, an application was submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration to build a tower at 18401 Collins Avenue, agency records show.

According to the application, the tower will rise 741 feet above ground, or 749 feet above sea level. No tower in Sunny Isles has yet surpassed the 649-foot mark, but Estates at Acqualina has asked for approval to build two towers at 749 feet.

Days Hotel by Wyndham Thunderbird Beach Resort is currently operating at the site, with Dezer Hotel Management Ltd listed as the owner.

DEZER GETS APPROVAL TO BUILD THE TALLEST TOWER IN SUNNY ISLES

Quote:
Dezer Properties has been granted approval from the Federal Aviation Administration to build the tallest tower in Sunny Isles.

The developer will be permitted to build up to 743 feet above ground, or 749 feet above sea level. That is about 100 feet taller than any other building in Sunny Isles.

The approval is for a property at 18401 Collins Avenue that is currently occupied by the Days Hotel by Wyndham Thunderbird Beach Resort. Dezer Hotel Management Ltd is the owner of the motel, which will be demolished.

Dezer’s approval is for height only, and the developer has not yet submitted architectural plans for the property to the city yet.

Some of the buildings in Sunny Isles currently at the 649 foot level include Porsche Design Tower, Mansions at Acqualina, Muse, Ritz-Carlton Residences, Turnberry Ocean Club Residences and Residences by Armani Casa.

This tower will be branded "Bentely Residences". Can we change the thread title?

Obviously the surroundings are not quite realistic. In reality it will be right up against the Turnberry Ocean Club and Porsche Design Tower.

Advertised as the tallest oceanfront building in the US.

60-Story Bentley Residences Launches With Pools On Balconies & Car Elevators

Quote:
Sales are now underway for the Bentley Residences tower, set to become the tallest residential building on a U.S. beachfront at 60 stories and 749 feet tall.

The developer has also revealed plans for a set of unique amenities, including balconies with pools.

Bentley Residences is planned to include 216 condo units, with prices starting at $4.2 million.

The tower will have car elevators, with residents able to drive directly to a multi-car garage in their private residence.

Every unit will also have its own private swimming pool on the balcony.

Other amenities will include built-in unit saunas and heated flooring, the developer said in a press release.

A 12,000 square foot sales gallery is opening this month.

Construction on the tower itself will begin in early 2023, with completion in 2026, according to the developer.

Sieger Suarez is the architect.

Dezer Development is the developer.

Cool

It looks like the people on the beach may burn from the reflection like in London and Vegas. It could turn out really awesome though.

Sunny Isles is the home for Israeli and Russian fraudsters and money launderers, and its garish architecture reflects it.

I don't personally find this to be garish, and quite prefer it over the more standard white-painted concreate and glass towers with cantilevered balconies. What I do have an issue with is all these luxury auto towers. Porsche, Astin-Martin, Bentley. What's a guy gotta do to have a more affordable Fiat Tower or Kia Tower?

What about Toyota? Toyota International Residences seems fitting for Kendall or Hialeah.

chris08876, the best part about that Home Depot condo is the basketball hoop on the exterior.

Exclusive: Bentley’s First Residential Tower Is Coming to Miami
Each unit will come with its own garage and car elevator, naturally

Quote:
As the old saying goes, “Another day, another branded luxury residential tower.” And buildings with big automotive names attached to them are becoming increasingly popular, particularly in Miami, home of the Porsche Design Tower and Aston Martin Residences. Now, another carmaker is adding its name to that illustrious list—Bentley Motors, which announced today that it will construct a 749-foot-tall building in the city’s Sunny Isles Beach area.

Bentley is partnering with Dezer Development for the project, which will be the British manufacturer’s first ever luxury residential tower. No stranger to branded residences, Dezer’s resume includes the Armani/Casa and Porsche towers. It partnered with Sieger Suarez Architects for both endeavors; the firm will be overseeing the design of the new Bentley construction as well.

Of course, you’re buying a certifiably Bentley home, not a new Four Seasons pad (although those are great, too), so what are some of the automotive perks? Each of the 200-plus apartments will have an in-unit, multi-car garage, so your prized marque can be stored in your very own residence, rather than some overlarge communal parking lot. A patented car elevator will whiz your wheels up to whatever residence you’re in. (Yep, even if it’s not a Bentley.)

The units are more than just a cool place to stash one’s car, though. Each home will also have its own private balcony, pool, sauna and some will have an outdoor shower. It’s a view worth taking in—the building will offer both ocean and bay views; floor-to-ceiling windows will allow residents to enjoy it even from inside.

Outside of your condo, shared amenities include a gym, pool, spa, restaurant, lounge, cabanas, cinema, whiskey bar and landscaped garden.

The Bentley Residences Miami will be constructed in accordance with Florida Green Building Council certifications—the hope is that, this way, the building will consume less energy and have a minimal impact on the environment.

But don’t get too excited, because it hasn’t actually been built yet. Construction is estimated to begin in 2023 and is scheduled to be complete in 2026. In the meantime, interested buyers can visit bentleyresidencesmiami.com to learn more.
