?do you mean the one on the right with the circular facade, or the observation tower. the one on the right is a foster and partners design.

Main Street in Winnipeg has a bit of an urban canyon going on.

Cool shot by Mike, 415 Yonge needs to be torn down. Spire still one of my favorite condos in the city, looking good as always.

Outstanding, but by God, Tarana city hall looks fugly from the backside (monolithic concrete slab).

Nice pic but Toronto looks like a big ugly mess from that angle. Looks like their is no planning at all and everybody can build what they want everywhere.

Love the new green roof on top of the City Hall podium, it makes it look 100x better. Though I do agree by the back of it looking very slab-esque. I wonder if there's anything possible to do to improve it without compromising the unique architecture of it.

Take about a city being Crane-Crazy!

The crush of people about to hit the streets, will change the character and feel of the city. All those new towers, require 10's of thousands of people...

...people on the street.

That may be reflective of the fact that the city is in a massive state of flux right now. Up until a decade ago, much of the downtown north of Queen Street was low or midrise. Now that very tall towers are moving in en masse, the entire area looks like quite the mish mash of densities. I expect that this will change as the area continues to be built up and the remaining parking lots are filled in.

Here's a bit of a wider angle:

Note that the orange crane on the right is Aura. At 272.3 metres it will absolutely dominate everything in that shot.
