Hill Country Holiday trip: SA, Fredericksburg, New Braunfels pics

We just got back from spending a solid week with my folks in Kerrville. While we were there, the wife and I celebrated our one year anniversary in downtown SA, slept in, ate Taco Cabana, and headed out to various exciting destinations in South-Central TX:

34. This is the restaurant where we ate lunch. Despite its huge size and Arabic flavored architecture, our section was dark and cozy, and the atmosphere was solidly German. Side note: I tried schnitzel for the first time.

Interesting, I had no idea that was a German style of architecture. My grandma described as looking kind of Arabic before we went there, and she's married to my grandpa, who is full-blood German, so I figured she knew what she was talking about :p

Cool shots. I like the architecture in Fredericksburg, but it's so freakishly touristy though. There are some awesome restaurants there though.

Was a tour guide there in the early-mid 80's. It was a great job and owned by a great family!
