New design for this tower to be in the works by Lifetime.

The old rendering is toast.

Graphic Arts Tower

First Toronto Tower

Downtown Plaza

Sapphire Tower

Canada Tower

I don't think the Canada Tower was ever a serious proposal though, just something put together to make the property more marketable.

So there have been 4 proposals before this one for the site. Then I agree that it is toxic. But that never stops Canada's best city.

Centrecourt and Lifetime Development's newest project at 70 Temperance to be called INDX Condos --a nice play on the TSX nearby.

www.indxcondos.com coming soon.

Hope it's by either aA/Core/Wallman as per the developers' stated favourite architects.

VVIP launch soon, so renderings next week?

i love how they complain about shadows on NPS but that render shows a massive shadow being cast by the sheraton center...

Perhaps they should bulldoze that eye-sore which is the Sheraton Centre. Put something up in it's place that isn't so ugly to look at. Especially from NPS.

The Sheraton is one of the best buildings in that style in Toronto. I'd rather they bulldozed City Place than that.

I actually like City Place, particularly as density filler.
I appreciate each is entitled to their own tastes and opinions, but I'm not of a fan of the ugly concrete of buildings like the Sheraton. Otherwise, its form and shape is good. I would say, that had it had a different exterior it would be another decent tower in the downtown core.
