You think a province with complete control over liquor is going to hand over an equally controlled commodity like pot, to private retailers?

Not a chance. This should come as a surprise to no one.

This is probably the easiest way to deal with this, at least in the short term.

In any event, what Selinger wants doesn't matter. He won't be in power when this comes to fruition. Regardless of how its sold - I just hope the PC's are as pro-pot as the NDP, and do not try to throw up roadblocks for even just selling it in MB, let alone who sells it.
