That was one big ass mobile crane! It is incredible that there are even few larger ones. While still living in Berlin, I got to witness an 8-axel monstrosity Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 working on a bridge construction next to our place. Apparently it was the second largest mobile crane in Liebherr's line-up.

It must be nerve-wracking to drive one of these on public roads...

Extra nerve-wracking on a long weekend Friday evening commute. It was nerve-wracking for me https://youtu.be/NTJze--WFq4 , drivers cutting in and out speedy past on the right.
I wonder how many parked car's side mirrors will get clip by an impatient driver determined get by him on his right.

Office Building cladding went up fast!
Too bad the Avison Young report says there are no office tenants yet.

Getting close to the finish line.

Anyone know if any big box grocery or retailer have signed to lease the commercial space in the residential condo?

After the crane is gone....

In the commercial building, the tower crane went up and thru the floor plates. When the crane was removed, large, square holes remain on each floor. Any idea how these are filled in and made so that that area is as strong as the rest of the floor?

Right, for some reason I keep hearing EverythingWine being a rumored tenant as well? Anyone can confirm?

Seems like a no-brainer – JP owns the chain; The area is missing a liquor retailer (A high-end one if I may add)...Only apprehension would be the crowd it can start attracting being fairly close to Granville street.

They were one of the full service concierges for the building. Not sure if they are actually opening a physical retail store.

They probably leave ends of rebar and just fill them in?

Pic by me today:

That gap in the mechanical penthouse wall is still there
- maybe a door there for the BMU?

Does that side have the screen (architectural parapet)?

Night Time Glazing

I think they're on a mission to finish the bldg enclosure (envelope) by the end of this week, if not sooner.
6:50pm this evening

Window washer also working hard. He worked the alley side last week and now making his way around.
Maybe some suits (VIP) are showing up sometime soon.

Or maybe Jim Pattison and associates want to check out their new digs next week.
Another long day for the window guys, they just now shutoff their spot lights (8:15pm).

Strangely, the Avison Young Report says that 0% of the office tower is preleased.
While all of the strata office in the podium has been sold.

Reason for more urgency to finish and promote the Office building.
