Yikes!! Well, perhaps if you're from New York, but it makes the Top Ten Conde Nast list of "Americas" cities year after year for a reason.

Yes, I am biased...being a resident of Victoria!

It really is an amazingly dense city for North America, with a metro population of 350,000. The official stats bear out the density angle as well (do your own research, I'm lazy!)

won't see any significant amounts for another 10 years!!

and time for a couple more tnano flickr shots showing that even without snow Victoria has a dense
downtown core, with relatively few (and rapidly disappearing parking lots that it's becoming an issue of concern)
