I'm really liking the looks of this one. I can't wait until it starts shooting up, as I watch the webcam for a few minutes every day. It's going to look nice, although I wish it was a little taller.

I'm sure this has been posted elsewhere, but can someone clarify what is supposed to happen to the east of 1010? On the parcel where Jock's and Jills and what used to be Club Riviera are? Is it slated for development anytime soon?

Directly east of 1010 (where Club 112 and a big parking lot currently sit) will be the next phase of the 12th and Midtown development - a 40-story, 750,000 sq ft office building and another 40-story building with a hotel and condos. The lot north of that one (between 12th and 13th) will be the third phase, and will be another office building and a boutique, 5-star hotel.

The lot south of Club 112 on the east side of Peachtree, where Jock's and Jill's is right now, is owned by Dewberry, which has said that nothing will be built there until the market is right for it. Don't really know when that will be...

These two buildings are slated to begin construction this year on the Club Riviera lot.

The actual buildings are supposed to be about 8 stories taller than the rendering shows... so they'll appear taller than they do there.

I'm loving watching on the webcam the curve of the fascade being formed! (I know I need a life!) I'm not sure why this building excites me to the degree it does. It's just a great building for that site IMO.

Great pictures Joe, I didn't know they were already on the fifth floor, I need to get out more. I think the reason this building and others across Atlanta are rising so rapidly is because of increased morale throughout the city. For anyone who has been in Atlanta their whole life like me, seeing our city growing at this rate is beyond what word can describe. And for that we are blessed

A-town...I'm not sure I understand you. Is that what you intended to write? Buildings are rising fast because of increased morality? What do you mean?

Lol I'm glad you pointed that out SteveD, the word I was going for was morale. This is what happens when you're trying to work and post comments at the same time, before your boss catches you.

From the webcam it looks like parking's been renewed for the month once again, so probably no start in May for 12th and Midtown.

Once the entire complex is completed, this exact view of 12th and Midtown is going to be phe-nom-i-nal driving up Peacthree.

I don't know if anyone has peeked in, but that retail/restaurant space along Peachtree is HUGE. This project will be very nice at street level.
