looks like ~23 residential stories atop a ~11 level garage... so... say 34 stories... i think buildings of that hieght are usually around... 310-ish feet... but i could be wrong.

The Upper Kirby Post Office Garage was issued a demolition permit. Years ago, an article mentioned the relocation of that branch.

HOUSTON – Some of Houston's most frequented post offices will soon be getting new homes.

The U.S. postal service has decided to relocate five inner city post offices to new buildings within the same zip codes.

That list includes offices on Greenbriar near Portsmouth, Timmons near West Alabama, Almeda near Old Spanish Trail, Town and Country Way near I-10 and Richmond near Yupon.

Postal service officials say the new locations have not yet been chosen and added their will be no interruption in service when these post offices are moved to new buildings.
Land probably too expensive to maintain? The actual post office is still up and running. Only the garage is to be demolished. For now.

Horrendous. Awful. Atrocious. Hideous. Terrible. Bland. Boring. Uninspired.

Will be an immediate and long-term eyesore.

I'm hoping the developer gets a little feedback on the design because it's pretty sterile.
